Membership

Members receive the
Networks Newsletter and Journal. The Network offers three categories
of membership:
Full
Membership
For organisations responsible for assuring the academic quality of post-secondary
education programs offered by institutions other than themselves; for
example, accrediting agencies, universities
which accredit other
institutions, government agencies which evaluate, and commercial
organisations which undertake accreditation activities.

Membership
For organisations with a major interest in, but no direct responsibility
for, quality assurance.

Affiliates
Membership
In addition, individual persons may affiliate to the Network for the
same fee as a member,
and will receive the
newsletter and Journal.

Members are obliged
to
1. abide by the Constitution of the Network; and
3. remit, in due time, the subscriptions or any other contributions determined
in accordance with the Constitution.
Membership is
withdrawn if the member
1. resigns, in writing to the Secretariat; or
2. fails to maintain the conditions that allowed its initial admission,
as set out in this Constitution; or
3. does not fulfil the obligations set out in the Constitution; or
4. acts in the Networks name without authorisation; or
5. on a recommendation of the Board.
INQAAHE Policy Statement
The Oman workshop generated a good deal of useful discussion and, while
it was not a decision-making body, a broad consensus emerged that
INQAAHE should become more outgoing, proactive and influential.
